Midwestern

It’s a good time to be stereotypically midwestern. You know, focused on the here and now, calm, neighborly, and stable.  It’s a bad time to be high strung, flighty, overly imaginative. It’s a good time to be patient, calm, even dull, and a bad time for what-ifs at 3:00 am. A good time to take it one day at a time, keep hope alive, chill out, and stop reading scare articles.

I know all this, but following my own advice is sometimes hard.
